Supposedly a constitutional carry bill has been filed. I'd really like to see one removing the restriction on CHL holders from carrying in 51% locations.

Also need one getting rid of the "illegal knife" stuff and a preemption for knife laws.

Man, Antarctica is going to be the new Area 51...why would Kerry need to take a trip down there using all the jet fuel and resources just to talk to some scientists...some bullshit.

    I would like to +1 the 51%

Honestly at this stage I'd prefer a way to eliminate the weight of law from all the idiotic signs more than anything.

I can understand that, and hope something like that passes too. CC is still the main bill I want since it will empower all law abiding Texans instead of just the small percentage who take the time to take a class and pay the fee. More guns less crime.

The real problem I think we will have this year is making sure guns are a big issue this year. I will be pushing for any and all pro gun bills to be passed. If we send a message to the legislature that gun rights are still on our minds as much as last session we should at least get some crumbs. There's really no reason we can't have it all though if our legislature is as conservative as they campaigned.

I agree, eliminating criminal empowerment zones should be our top priority. This would save more lives than constitutional carry IMO.
