Here’s a Muhle Glashutte that I also had and sold. (Yes, I have a love for German watches.). It was about 38mm, and I found it just too small. If it was 2-4mm bigger, I’d still be wearing it.

Just out of curiosity, what was the price it sold for? I'm not interested in subscribing to find out.

    I don’t subscribe either.
I’m not having much luck finding a value.

If I had to venture a guess, it would be in the $1200 - 1700 range based on similar-ish watches I see.

But that’s just guessing...do you see any numbers anywhere on the case?
Do you still have the box and any papers?

A reference number from the case or back would be hugely helpful

I almost bought a Sinn 103 ST at one point, but I got the Tudor GMT from above instead. I still think about that Sinn LOL

I really like unusual metals like the sub steel you mention.
Bremont has some nice pieces made with aerospace materials

14k.- L enclosed in a circle GOLD plus the gift engraving to me in 1959. No identifying marks. The second hand on mine is gold and mine has minute marks on the case. Interesting and I know nothing about watches. No box or papers. Works good though. It is a safe queen.

Railmasters are cool...interesting that they're a sub-brand of the Seamaster line, so they're considered Seamaster Railmaster.
Since I like 'em chunky...they do offer an XXL version that's 49.5mm and I'd love to have one :-)

Yeah I always thought it was really odd that they weren't their own thing. I was really confused when I first learned about the railmaster and then figured out they're under the seamasters line. I do like the seamasters a lot as well, just not on the top five for me. For whatever reason I just have an affinity for Omega watches.
