    How about the jackboots that were on the SWAT team who raided a retiree's house over an imported car? {google it}
    You think the armed government band that showed up in the first incident at the Bundy ranch in NV was appropriate? {Not referring to everything Bundy has said, but to this one incident.}
    You think the ATF cowboy stunt with the Branch Davidians was good law enforcement? {Howell should have been arrested, make no mistake. But it could have (and had been previously) done without risking the lives of othres.

    Do I have to keep going?

    Is it commmonplace? No. Increasing? Maybe. Can it happen? Yes.

    I don' totally disagree with those incidents in the least. But they are isolated incidents.

    I just grow tired of the radical extremist rhetoric that some keep spouting, It's serves no purpose, other than making all us to look like radical and idiots.

    Criticize and condemn the wrong, with facts and proof, not a bunch of rhetoric nonsense, claiming all feds are jack-booted thugs. That serves no purpose IMO.

    The dude shit on the flag right out of the gate.

    Fail. Epic fail.

    You can be unhappy about the gooberment and remember your oath or pledge, infact its probably required if you meant them. Regardless of weather your oath was the military or law enforcement they say the same thing. You didnt pledge allegiance to Hitler like the nazis, you did to the Flag and the republic. Again you are almost required to speak up when shit is going the wrong way. Not to bail when you're not happy.

    Some of us still believe in the Constitution, America, and what they represent to us.

    Sadly, you speak of the Constitution, but with many of your posts, you really don't have a clue what it means, or represents.

    Just out of curiosity, how many jack-boots have been on your doorstep this week? This month? Or this year? How many have knocked on your door?
    You said that I should just stop. But since you actually want to engage, here goes.
    Which view of our Constitutional Union of States do you hold to? A Jeffersonian Federalist Union or a Hamiltonian/Lincolnian Nationalist Union?

    I respect the flag, Constitution and Declaration of Independence, as I do our founding fathers. I don't trust our current politicians to keep to those beliefs, but I try not to throw out the baby with the bath water.

    What I believe, or think is irrelevant at this point. I think most of my posts on this thread pretty much represent what I think, or believe. Not going to re-hash it simply for your pleasure. Re-read my posts and draw your own conclusions at to what you might think I believe in.

    I'm sorry. My bad. You must be having the Bundy meeting this week instead!

    Leave the Bundy family out of this. They were awesome.

    Did any of you keyboard commies even follow the links provided?
    It leads to a group that just wants a non-binding question placed on the primary ballot. Hardly anti American.
    Instead you guys pull a dim0crap move and attack his ham fisted presentation accusing him of what we do on these pages all day. Talking bad about government.
    Our Texas forefathers failed to allow Texans the ability for initiative and referendum. Thusly just asking is all we can do before sucking up to some elected dude.
    I've been reading a bunch of chickens pecking around screaming "the sky is falling."
    Most of us have thought secession was a good idea at some point. This is a chance maybe to see how Texans as a state feel on the subject. Maybe we should support such a move.

    "Ham fisted" is probably an accurate description.

    No I would call that radical extremism at all. IMO, a very well written post and one I can agree with.

    Not a lot I could really add to that, other than this. There are other states just like Texas. We are not alone with what is going on in this country. I for one am not ready to abandon America, or other states that think very much like many Texans do.
    Yet we are not seemingly able to stop the slide.

    Understand.

    But when you speak up, you vote and the slide into leftist socialism just keeps going, at some time you reach a decision point.

    Give in. Resist and try to restore the republic. Split and return to being a republic.

    I never have been one to give in to wrong, regardless of the cost. Just wasn't how I was raised.
