Just placed an order with MidwayUSA for a TLR-1s. They had the lowest price on the internet. In fact, even after shipping, their price was still lower than most vendors. I've read great reviews on this light, does anyone have one? If so, how do you like it?

I have the TLR-1 (no s) and I love it. My only beef is that to get a pressure switch is another $30, but I really like mine otherwise.

I doubt I'd ever need a pressure switch. Once I get it in, I'll post up how I personally like it. I don't expect I'll be disappointed.

If it's going on a pistol, you won't need the tape switch. A TLR-1 won't even fit on a Sig if you try running the tape switch...

I've had a TLR-1 and two of the -2 lights (no strobe-capable ones yet), and think they're great. Well-built lights for a good price.

Yeah, I planned on keeping this on my Glock. I'll buy another light eventually, but first I have to build my first AR-15. Haha

I have one on my G17 nightstand gun and another one that rotates to whatever I may want to hang it on. I have never used the strobe other than to mess with my wife (not a good idea). No function issues at all, the one that bounces around has prob had 1000 or more rounds fired while it was attached to something. Most of those on a GLOCK.

I don't particularly plan on taking this off much. Are you recommending not really shooting a large number of rounds with it attached?

I have one on my nightstand G34; I think its a great light for the price. No function issues either and it stays on there and is in and out of kydex on low light shoots.

TLR-1s came in today. So far, I'm VERY satisfied. It's super bright and works perfect. I plan on going to the range this weekend to practice on some shooting, so if it holds up it'll get an A+ from me!

I have no complaints with Streamlight at all. I have one of their weapon lights, the little pocket light I take everywhere and a Stinger I use at work. I don't baby any of my lights, and haven't managed to actually break one yet.
