With the billions already spent in providing the Biden Ukraine buddies with military equipment tge Pentagon now says they overestimated the value of previous arms shipments so they can now send another $3 Billion worth of arms including Abrams tanks.

Excuse was they used replacement costs instead of discounting for “used” equipment.

    Good news! Thanks for sharing.

That would be quite a coup.

He’ll just wait until Putin dies, like everyone else. He (Prigozhin) is just prepping the political battlefield in Moscow so he doesn’t get blamed for failure. Essentially consolidating his power base by showcasing Wagner Group’s participation was the the least unsuccessful compared to regular forces under Moscow control.

It would be a kick in the head to the Russian people. If I'm thinking of the right person, the guy has almost no military experience.

His prior work history is that he was basically a caterer.

Or am I thinking of some else?

You have the correct guy. He’s also claiming Wagner is the reason for Russia’s finally being able to take Bakhmut. As with most battles, it’s tactically insignificant and the strategic value is it’s PR value at home, Moscow in this instance.

Is Wagner Group's Spec-Ops capability that good?

In relation to my statement, that’s not how you get to be the next head of Russia (or China, either). How you get to be the next head of Russia or China is to have as many *key* people think you are as powerful as you are while ruthlessly getting rid of your competition. That doesn’t have to be done kinetically. Discredit them, buy them off, cheat them, kill them, threaten what’s important to them, all kinds of ways to do that.
