The salesman can make upwards of 10-15k a month. The power people.
The sales manager makes at least $15,000 a month doing nothing but scrolling a number on paper the salesman hands to you.
Finance Manager, $20,000
Dealership manager. Usually a either really fat guy or a tiny skinny guy wearing a real suit. He makes a minimum of about $25 grand a month.
....
You wouldn't believe the money dealerships make. You'd think they sell maybe a few cars a month. Nope, 25-75 cars a DAY at some places.
Unless you choose very wisely, of course. It amazes me how some vehicles don't depreciate along a normal curve. Look what used Ford Raptors sell for; it's frequently within a few thousand of the MSRP when they were new. Most BMW models depreciate like a falling rock but some, as in the case of the Z8, never depreciate much and then start going back up in value.I bought a brand new car once in my life and immediately found out how much depreciation there was,
I bought my bike 2 months old with 750 miles on it for $3k less then new, plus it had about $1k worth of extras on it.Unless you choose very wisely, of course. Of course, if it's up to me to choose, I'll always pay too much for a vehicle that will lose value faster than everything else on the road.
Hah. Get what you want and use it. That’s how I am with trucks. I don’t wheel with em, I work with them. I laugh at Street queen owners.I had some yuppy wannabe tell me that I shouldn't ride it so much if I want to keep the value in it, I said "Do I look like I need a garage ornament?"

If a guys truck doesn’t have a mark in the bed he needs a Subaru.
Lmao epic. My Nissan Titan ain’t worth a bottle of piss but mechanically it’s been good to me and I have never neglected her. But boy have I worked that truck. It’s just finally falling apart cosmetically. Time to find fresh blood aka new truck lol I’m going to downgrade to 2wd. The canyons seem to get pretty good mpg. I just can’t get away from driving for whoever I work for. My driving experience always seems to fallow me. I can’t shake having a truck they just make money, be it for me right now my hourly plus 50 cents a mile.It really cracks me up to see fully loaded 3/4 or 1 ton trucks in showroom condition, knowing that the most work they’ve ever done is hauling groceries. I used to work with a guy that bought a brand new GMC Denali HD Dually, and used it to drive back and forth to work. Then sit and complain about the fuel mileage of his rough riding $72k truck.
