Virginia is not the only state with this.

Here in Texas, legislators, congressmen, LEOs, the National Guard, and state government are almost totally silent on this. One wonders where GROUND ZERO will be and if these individuals will comply with the Constitution.

More accurately, slightly more than 53% of those who voted got what they voted for.

Over 59% of Virginia’s registered voters actually voted. It’s be interesting to see how things turned out if all 5+ million voters actually voted.

Instead, about 1.75m voters, or 21% of the total population got what they wanted.

Historically, in national election years, About 59% of Texas’ registered voters actually go to the polls; that’s about 9m total, with around 4-5m voters determining the political results for 28m Texans.

When you swing hard with only 1/4 (or less) of the population’s support, you better be ready for the backlash. And that’s where Ds make their mistake. They look at polls based on biased questions and biased respondent selection and take it as a mandate to deliver the policy equivalent of football bats and expect everyone to be grateful for those football bats.
That's what I was wondering, how many of those now wondering how this happened took the time to cast a ballot. I'm a simple thinker, but it seems to me to be easier to take time to vote and ask everyone like-minded to vote, than to rescind bad laws after they're passed because there was low voter turnout.

Will you call yourself stupid, if / when Texas turns blue? I believe most native Virginians are conservative, they just have a couple things going against them. East coast, big cities and close proximity to D.C. Urbanites are mainly progressives, they love living near the coast and congregate in big cities. Texas is seeing the influx itself, just not as fast as Virginia has.

I believe all Constitutional loving free people should stick together in this fight, and not turn our backs on them and just say "you got your just desserts", otherwise, there'll be few left to fight.

If we don't allow the President to put the citizenship question on the census for 2020, and not count the illegals and use a drivers license test for voting, don't we face the possibility of losing control of the electoral college vote to the coasts?

Consider how many Bloomberg commercials you see on the television on all channels including cable channels. Bloomberg is dumping at least 100 million to word a version of subliminal mind control on the population. His adds seem to start out with beating the NRA and pushing gun control, then moves to other topics.

It would not surprise me that his spending is aimed at furthering the Democrat agenda as well as his hope to become the Democrat nominee.

    You Think.

If the reapportionment wont take affect until 2024 wont the states giving drivers licenses and then using that for voter ID affect the election? They are also working hard to increase immigration legal/illegal now.
I'm not really sure how many voter fraud cases there really are, it's pretty hard to define. Immigration, both legal and illegal spiked during the latter Obama years and only slowed down recently. The majority of those legal in that time are voting democrat, but even illegals, whether they vote or not can effect the census, and that in turn can change the number in the house of representatives.

If the governor is knowingly going against the 2nd amendment of the constitution is he not committing sedition and therefore the militia can stand against his action?
I believe the sedition is against him, but the founding fathers did leave instructions to the affect what should be done in the event of a tyrannical government.

If they are not using IDs that show US citizenship, then they are worthless to keep illegals from voting.

Much like a lot of other states that are run by the left, a geographically tiny portion of Virginia that is densely populated with Free Shit Army decided for the rest of the state.

Shit like this makes me wonder if the states need an electoral college system( at least for Governor’s races)

Interesting thought. Perhaps so. Else, you are likely to see a lot of states continuing down the "split" road. We were in WA and they talked for years about splitting the West side off to give the moonbats their own state and to have a thinking, reasonable state from the rest. CA was going to split, what?, five ways?
Having lived under that system for a long while, I would have supported it. There was almost nothing stupid and feel-good that Seattle and Tacoma would happily vote in.
Whether it was constitutional or not.

They just voted the communists into control.
They are stupid and deserve some "elections have consequences" experience.
Absolutely.......so sick of Governors ignoring The Constitution of the UNITED STATES!!!

You'd think gun rights would be a forefront to ALL STATES. Where do you think the Minutemen and State Militias came from?

Democrats love bringing up the forefathers when it fits their Socialist agendas. And Piss on their graves when it doesn't........

Bloomberg dumped a ton of cash to swing VA from red to blue. That jackwagon didn't stop at NY.

The rank and file Mil and LE are by and large pro 2A. It's the politicians and chiefs who push the progressive agenda. Good article.

Now Dictator Bloomberg wants to run against Trump...

TRUMP 2020 for this Gun owning Family!!!

I think the laws they are proposing could be worse than California.
Although I watched the whole video, the first part explains the laws they are looking to enact in Va:

    Here what I know..and believe.

The Virginia bills will pass, without question. Someone or a group will file a lawsuit in federal court. It will take 3.5yrs minimum and about 1.5 million dollars to overturn the laws with SCOTUS assuming SCOTUS will even hear the case. Democrats will delay as much as possible in hopes that The case won’t appear before SCOTUS before the 2024 election and their democratic president wins and takes office. if that’s the case SCOTUS will lean more liberal.

In the mean time, Virginia and the AG WILL enforce the laws, prosecute and send people to prison, those that they catch. The ones that they catch, will be the ones that are reported by someone else, or by those who are too stupid and take their illegal items in the car or other vehicle and get discovered in a traffic stop.

Another group of gun owners who don’t want to risk going to jail or being killed, will turn in their guns, or they will dispose of them as quickly as they can.

Another group will hide their illegal guns, and will tell everyone that they were lost in a fire, or boating accident, or stolen etc... They will sit by and do absolutely nothing in hopes that eventually the laws will change.

And finally the very last group, which will be a small minority will actually be willing to risk jail, as well as death and fight anyone who tries to take their guns. These are the ones you will hear in the news that killed a few officers and then were killed themselves.

maybe just maybe and hopefully will be a group of people that have held out as long as those in Waco did, or like other big mistakes and hold outs that the FBI and ATF have done in the past. However in this case, it will be the Virginia state police and sheriffs who are nowhere as well trained as the FBI and ATF, and will make a nationwide embarrassment of themselves.

The governor won’t call out the NG, because they would have to declare martial law, and by that time, I believe our federal government would step in.

Basically there won’t actually be enough people who will risk going to jail, and risk dying to get up and do what they can to prevent even forcibly any law enforcement come knocking on doors.

if Virginians are going to stop them going door to door, they will have to come together in thousands and all those thousands be willing to risk going to jail as well as loosing their lives for the cause. Sadly I think and believe that those numbers in Virginia willing to do that are less then 1000 in the entire state.

Seriously how many of you are willing to loose your life or go to prison fighting the cause and preventing door to door confiscation?

I am... but I don’t think many will.
