I do think it's a real, genuine photo of Obama putting one into the berm, but it's definitely not skeet shooting.

Regardless of whether or not it could be considered "skeet," he was actually shooting at a clay target. If I implied that what he was doing conformed to some official designation of the term "skeet shooting" then let me retract that. However, he was in fact shooting at a flying clay target. As far as the actual date of this shoot, I didn't think to ask my friend.
