Making a new and cheaper 458 socom out of a 50 AE case. I had full sizing die made from CH4D to neck a 50AE down to a 45. I had rheamers and case gauges done too.

Resurrected an old Dillon Square Deal press. After about thirty years of sitting in the dark recesses of the reloading cabinet it was drug out to the daylight and bolted up to the bench. After an hour or so of cleaning and oiling up it was cranking out perfect .357 Magnum loads. Dillon makes some good stuff!

Ordered some H335 powder to use for loads in 7.62x39 Ruger American rifle. Ordered 500 123 grain "blems" from Midway, previously. Got 200 new cases, too. Using "Brown Bear" steel case ammo, the little rifle performs well. With hand loads, it should do even better!

Been looking at that new Lee progressive press. The one that uses the breech lock bushings. Anyone seen one in person yet?

Also, shopping for a medium to long range rifle. Trying to decide on a caliber. So far I'm leaning to the 6mm creedmoor. Anyone ever used it? Hoping to go out to 600-1000 yards.

Also looked at 223 since I already have stuff to load it. I looked at the ruger American preditor but it uses AR mags. I'm afraid I might not be able to use the vld type bullets in the AR size mags. Any thoughts on that?

That sure makes me want one of those things.
There is a pretty steep learning curve and they are not fast by any stretch of the imagination, but they are awesome! The ammo boxes take about 12 hrs to print, but you can print 8-10 of them for about $12 worth of filament! I just finished a lego light switch cover for my son. Ill post some pics this eve. For less than $400, it'll do pretty mich anything I need! The AFG tool about 18 hrs and I could print 4 or 5 of them for less than $20. My next print will be an AR speed loader.

The new Lee press is getting good reviews but apparently it still uses the same lacking priming system. No experience besides what I have read.

I will be getting a 6mm CM soon. The only drawback I have seen is lack of componants. Bullets are in short supply and I believe Hornady is the only one making brass so far.

If you load any bullets long you will run into magazine issues. Sometimes you get lucky but not often.

    Ran 1100 9mm cases through the sizing die, primed 200 of them. Ordered 500 .224 Hornady 55 gr. FMJ-BT and 500 Hornady 9mm 124 gr. XTP-HP.
