Dude, you have a freakin' horseshoe stowed somewhere.
Some days it seems like i do.
I promise you though, i have friends that seem like they stumble on deals of the life time ... ALL THE TIME. I never have that luck. I got one friend i swear gets deals on everything... cars, trucks, guns, boats. Several years ago right before Obummer, he found a guy that Owned a storage facility. One of the tenants had died/drug up, they had 3 case of AK-47's that had left. My buddy gets the call & gets the cases for $1k a piece.

A lot of times, it comes down to knowing enough people who know what kind of stuff you're into and what kind of guy you are.

I've had oilfield guys I have never met text me, saying they're a friend of so and so, asking if I want to buy their g17/xd/m&p/old shotty/pickup truck/ford f1/harley/you name it because about all I talk about when out on rigs is either what's going on with the hole, guns & shooting, or cars, trucks, & bikes. I make sure by the time we part ways that we all have each others numbers, and if they're ever in a bind, I'm a cheap guy who likes deals.

No doubt. The powder score alone was evidence of one.
Really up until me & the neighbor started talking more ...I'd never had "the horseshoe" with finding deals.
The best deal I ever got was when I was 22. I was at Fantasy all nude gentleman's establishment one night with a buddy. I eneded up winning a raffle for 2 lap dances from the lady of my choice & she would end up getting all the money from guys that bought the raffle tickets. She ended up with $800 bucks, hanging out with me all night & ended up coming home with me. The best $5 I've ever spent.

I got my Lee Pro1000 up and running smoothly using compressed air and some spray lube and loaded 500 rounds of 9mm up using 147grn projectiles on top of 3.4 grains of tightgroup with S&B primers and mixed brass.

Fired up the progressive and loaded 63 rounds of 9mm. I are an overachiever.
    Must be a Lee pro1000.

I started building my new bench in my new garage. My old bed had drawers under both sides and my wife hated it. I'm going to use those drawers under my bench for all my reloading junk. They're only feet high when stacked so I'm gonna have a space for ammo cans on top of the drawers. Trying to determine the best height for my bench but I forgot to measure my last bench before I moved out of the old house.

Might have loaded a bit more 9mm. I’ve got the cleaning and the charges down. Kinda pretty.

I’ve never used Tightgroup but I have a pound on the shelf.

Deavis, what is the controller for?

Controller is for a loading machine building it for another manufacturer who is updating older analog machines that used relay logic. He had some panels we scavenged parts and since I have a custom HMI and PLC program, I just loaded them up for him.

Loaded about 40k 9mm today and starting converting one machine to 45Auto so I can load it out.

Loading another 25k 9mm, got loader two converted to 45Auto, ran about 8k on it after checks, and got a bunch of brass ready to ship/scrap. Added a photoreflective sensor to the 45 drop tube as well, slowly getting all of them away from micro switches.

Not a bad for a short Saturday at the shop.

Naked Camdex machine, down to wear plates.

Even after all these years, NOTHING sounds as good as 45 plunking into a bin at 4k an hour. Just looks good and sounds good.

Got back on the press today after several months doing other things. Got my dies tuned a bit so the taper crimp wasn't so extreme. I'm pretty happy with where they are now.

Loaded up 20 rounds of 200 gr 45 ACP with 5.0 gr of HP-38.

If this runs well, I'll make up a larger batch.

Oh and I threw primers all over the floor too.

I did a little reloading today too. I had to re-crimp a couple hundred 357 magnum rounds.

Only another 25k? That's chump change. I can do that in an hour!

But seriously, those machines were impressive. I just heard your shop burned down. Is that true?

    Daydreams of camdex and ammoloads...
