Yep. The Israelis built them in both 7.62x39 and 5.56. They made improvements on the Finnish Valmet which was an improvement on the AKM.

I think Galils are awesome but hooboy getting one is tough here these days. The ACE made by IWI is pretty nice too but $$$$.

I can’t recall a time going to collectors firearms and not having seen at least one on the floor rack by the black guns section lol. Seems they’ve always got at least one, and sometimes other variants of it.

Atlantic firearms has a Galil kit built on a US receiver for sale right now. 16” barrel rather than 18” but close enough imo.

$800 bought me the gun, 6 mags, red dot, brace and 150 rounds

Extremely excited for this one, been looking for a while for a deal, was lucky enough to grab a deal that is better than what I've aimed for... My only gripe is that I want a foldable brace, and I'm not sure that I'll be able to find a listing (and new ones are too expensive for me atm)

Received my tx22 last week, took it to the range over the weekend -
Super easy to shoot, tight groups, and most importantly - doesn't jam.

Great piece.
