    It does.
And don’t forget the USPS is the USPS.
    They’re slow anyway.
I’m watching a package coming to me right now.
It was supposed to be here on Monday.
The seller sent it on the 3rd.
It sat in the same postal office for six days. After that tracking went dark. It showed up on tracking last night at the post office 30 miles from the origin point.
Oh well. At least it’s moving.
It might get here late next week.
And don’t forget the USPS is the USPS.
Been gone for 15 years, but you have no idea how screwy they are.

Let me know how you like that compared to the Ruger American. Been thinking of a .22 LR bolt gun lately.
    Well a few initial impressions:

Stock fit is tighter. Glad to see that. Trigger is better on the savage. its nice having the over sized bolt.

only thing out of spec was they rushed the threading. Well it’s in spec they just should have done a spring pass but that’s not gonna happen as these barrels are all done on cnc and as fast as possible. It was on the edge of not being cut deep enough. Easy fix and done. For the price I’m not gonna hold this against savage.

Might be 30-45 days until I get a range report. I’ll be working a lot of hours until closing is done on some land and get that move underway.

I know. Remind me to avoid doing so at all costs. I am not made of that kind of money. :D

As much as I bag on 1911s for fun, shooting them in 9mm is stupid fun. I got the chance to shoot @Moonpie 's Colt Gold Cup and it was like the easy button for shooting. Just kept punching the middle out of the target.

    Verily I say unto you:

"Go unto the world, shedding yourself of the thought that He would allow His design to be in naught by .45, and buy a real 1911......

But for the record...they CAN be kinda addicting......

While you can hold a safe down by loading it with a bunch of scrap steel like that I find it easier to bolt them to the slab.
