a 1980 Ruger New Model Single Six with both LR and WMR cylinders, original box, and owner's manual, $350.00. I'd rate it at about 80%, but it doesn't matter, because, it's going to be color case hardened, with a brass grip frame and Stag grips when I'm done. I'll take before pictures, and then in a few months, i'll post the before and after pics together. Can't wait, this is going to be fun................

I went and bought a Smith & Wesson 686 Plus Pro Series .357 magnum yesterday. I decided to order it since Grabagun had it about $400 cheaper then what I found in town. I had spent a lot of time researching it and I kind of like the idea that many of the parts are prepared and final tweeking and inspections are done by the same people that build Jerry Miculek's guns (Performance Center). Now I just need to wait. I will post pictures after I pick it up from my FFL.

I was at the pay shop yesterday and saw this.

    It was an impulse buy.

For a couple of hundred bucks with 2 mags, I figured... why not? It's the gun that Glock sued S&W over.. and man.. after taking it down I can see why, talk about a blatant copy! LOL.

I used to have the standard 686 Stainless with 6" barrel with factory comp port. Man.. it was a sweet shooting gun. I'm still kicking myself or selling it. :( You should be in good hands with S&W Performance center. I have one of their .44 wheel guns, and the trigger is PHENOMINAL (IMHO).

Picked up a RPR Thursday at a good price. Looks like all the others so no pics.

Seems like an ok rifle. Waiting on extra high rings so scope can be mounted and see how it shoots. Will change out some factory stuff that's not quite to my liking.

Cool. I've found that I shoot my RPR more than my ARs these days because I enjoy it, a lot. But, what I don't enjoy about it is that frigging stock... It's nice that Ruger built the stock around an AR buffer tube, because that opens up options to put any AR stock onto it.

I personally replaced mine with a MagPul PRSII. It's heavy.. yeah.. but much easier to adjust than the RPR stock.. which now lives on my 6.5 Grendal (where the PRS was before).

I've found that the zipper sound of the bolt diminishes quite a bit after the first couple of hundred rounds. The only other mod I did to mine was put on a fatter over-molded rubber Hogue grip (again, off an AR).

I used to have one in 40sw and never had any problems.

Very clean Iver Johnson 22lr carbine from mid 1980's. One original mag.

Taking it to Reds later this week.

Paid $150. Rear sights have both height and windage adjustment.
