    TXStetson, sorry to hear about your loss. It was your recommendation that tipped the scales to bite the bullet and go with a proven solid 1911 instead of taking a chance on a somewhat lower low-end choice. I’m sure to have many years of solid performances out of this one. Oh, it’s called photo shopping. Hehehehehe

    I miss it like crazy. It was my EDC. I’ll be getting another one. I’m torn between the same one again or the elite model.

    There's nothing wrong with an Springfield Armory 1911. I've got two. Both run like champs. I've got a half rail TRP and a full Rail Operator that had a lot of work done to it before I got it.

    There's nothing wrong with an Springfield Armory 1911. I've got two. Both run like champs. I've got a half rail TRP and a full Rail Operator that had a lot of work done to it before I got it.
    Mine was straight from SA, and it didn’t need anything, except smoother grips.

    Ooh, I like the threaded barrel... I've got one with a ported barrel, so I doubt it would supress well.
    Yea the dude I traded mentioned he had a can on it but he had never shot it with it on. I just found a muzzle brake on ebay that is 5/8x24 but has a wide opening for the diameter of the .45-70.

    Will work for now until I can get something custom done
