Canik TP9SFx. No more single stack in the club shoots for me. It's the one that comes with the Vortex red dot.

Great pick, I think you'll enjoy it a lot. Their triggers are amazing, especially given the price point. I have the more pedestrian SFL, and it's been great for competitions!

... and a bastard half-breed 1911 with a frame from some company called "Essex"
I went into the shop because I'd been eyeing the 870 Tactical they'd had on sale for over a month. Then I spotted this neglected looking 1911 in the bottom of the case.

She needed some cleanup (this is a before pic) and I've not had time to try it out at the range, but I'm hoping it doesn't disappoint. The price was right so I ended up adding it at the checkout counter

^ nice colt! Been wanting a series 70 as of late.

So when I went in to the gun shop last week and impulsively bought that Walther P99, I couldn’t decide between buying the Walther or a used gen 3 glock 19 and actually spent 20 or so minutes staring at both trying to make my mind up. Ultimately I chose the glock, then switched to the Walther after filling out my part of the 4473.

I went back into Texian Firearms (near ASC in Houston) today and bought the Glock 19 as well. It was only $475 with the TLR-1 and 3 mags (I put the +2 on one of them). Although it’s a used gun, it clearly hasn’t been used much as there is nearly no visible wear on it, and still has the factory copper colored grease in the slide.

I have no affiliation to Texian Firearms, but it really is a great little shop. The owner is super friendly and is very knowledgeable. Not like other shops I’ve been to where the staff couldn’t care less and think they’re better than everyone. Worth checking out if you’re already going to American Shooting Centers.

Sorry for my essay, here are some pics. Just need to get some trijicon HD’s on it.

I picked up (but have not yet received) a couple S&W 422 pistols. One has fixed sights and the other has the adjustable. Also, one is already equipped with the adapter for suppressor use and the other is not. One has the unobtanium wood grips and the other does not. LOL.
