Bought two as I couldn't make up my mind. Wanted to get a 1911 again and was torn between the Remington 1911 R1 Enhanced Stainless .45 ACP and the Springfield Armory PX9151L 1911-A1 Loaded .45 ACP Stainless Steel. Read good things here about the Remingtons and online about the Springfields. The Springfields have forged uppers and lowers where the Remingtons are cast.

Congrats on the MK IV. I installed a $14 hammer strut support in my MK III and now it assembles in 3 seconds. Amazon sells it.

Ruger Mark IV 22 cal, 5.5 " threaded barrel, stainless. Got tired of having to spend so much time in church after the cussing I would do after trying to disassemble and clean my Mark III. $489 at GrabAGun.

Ha! Its not a sticker. Its a hard plastic tube that snap fits on the barrel. Orbit can haz it if he wants it. Haha.

Daughter got her first shotgun Friday. Yildiz A71 semi auto 20ga. Stock has been cut back and fitted to her and fitted with a Limbsaver for now.
