My VW‘s left daytime running light went out.
I tried and tried but my hand doesn’t fit in the headlight housing access porthole. My wife tried and she could reach the light but couldn’t turn it out.
I got an appointment at VW for the fix.
The estimate for the repair was $30 for the bulb and $77 to remove the headlight housing to replace the bulb and button it back up.

Pro tech tip, a small square of black electrical tape now covers the idiot light on the dash.

    Got my hoopty detailed yesterday.

Can’t have clients see me in a disgustingly dirty truck…the inside hadn’t been cleaned since I’ve owned it LOL

And I know all you car guys will agree…vehicles run better when they’re clean

They certainly smell better. Just keep the poopy diapers out in the summer. Accidentally leave one of those in there and you will never recover that "new car" smell.

With 4 kids, well I just know.

Swapping the T-case in my Land Rover for one I didn't let the oil get too low on. Oops... not that hard, it's just really heavy and a lot of stuff has to come off and might-as-wells like seal and gaskets and stuff so I don't have to do this again.
