Afraid my kids will hurt themselves on the Kx65
I was thinking the same thing...the KX65 wasn't very Mr. MSF'ish of you. LOL

Then what did they get you on?It wasn't leaking.
Then what did they get you on?
Well, son of a gun. Drove the bike to work in pouring rain yesterday. (Car still don't run after blowing up the engine). All went well besides looking like a drowned rat when I got to work. No big deal. Set the gloves, jacket and backpack up to dry. Went up to the locker room and tossed on a clean dry uniform and a pair of boots I keep at work.
Fast forward to end of the day..... can not seem to locate the key for the bike. Not in the backpack (usual spot) not in my spare coin cup, not in my jacket. Damn, key was in the pants pocket. Hustle up to the locker room and just my luck. The uniform guy picked up the dirty cloths.
Now as a side note, I work at a Mercedes dealer. I had time to run up and snag a brand new loaner car and scooted to the honda dealer before they closed. Only way to get a new key was to have either the old one or the key code. I had neither. Nothing more I could do.
Fast forward to today. Did the walk of shame pushing the bike into my work station from the lot. Off comes the headlight, a couple electrical connectors and the support brace the headlight attaches to. The trim above the lock cylinder was easy. The ignition lock, not so much. They use tighten only security fasteners. I was able to get one out using a easy out. The other side I had to grind the head of the bolt off using a carbide bit and a angle grinder. With the ignition lock free I snagged yet another brand new loan car and headed for honda. For $12 usd I was back up and running. I reinstalled the lock assembly using non tamper proof stainless hardware and drove my scooter home.
Lesson learned. Have a spare key.

Anybody ever heard of A/C not working due to an ignition coil pack being bad? It doesn't make sense to me, but I had a guy tell me the other day that both were acting up. He replaced the coil pack and was going to get the temp control panel in a few days, but says once he replaced the coil pack - the a/c started working again.

I bought a 2018 MX-5 Club, AKA the Miata. Can’t let homosexuals and women have all the fun.
Nice little 6 speed, only has 155 HP but the car only weighs around 2300 lbs. It’s so small that going 60 down the highway feels like 80, and 80 feels like 100.
Nice to floor it, shift through a few gears, think you’re way past speeding but you look down at the speedo and you’re only going 45. Motor trend says it gets to 60 in 5.8 seconds but car mags do that testing with a rolling foot. Timer doesn’t start till car moves 12”. From a dig it’s closer to about 7 seconds.
Only thing I’ve done so far is order OEM all weather floor mats. Been raining every day since I bought the car on Labor Day, so I haven’t had the pleasure of displeasing everyone around me by giving them a top down view of me yet.
