You have won all the internet points for the day. This is literally the all around best rifle setup for everything in SHTF - hunting, stand off distance for horde management, and if things get real sporty, you have an area effect weapon. Now excuse me while I slink off to the corner with a few kleenex and the image of this thing... :green:

It's very easy to become a competent rifle grenadier. Even if you are shooting inerts, no one wants to take a 2.5lb lawn dart to the head

The sound of gunfire, off in the distance
I'm getting used to it now
Lived in a brownstone, lived in a ghetto
I've lived all over this town.
I have a friend who went to school in St. Louis. The first night she moved in and called us from her apartment, we could hear Gun fire over the phone.

Hell, the apartment I had on Riverside Drive in Austin (around 1993) didn't seem too bad...but I did find spent shell casings in the parking lot a day or two after I moved in. Turns out it was not quite as nice as "studentville" a few blocks away where all my friends lived.

Funny, now that I remember. When I told my dad the address he got up from his chair and went into his bedroom. Then he returned with a pistol, put it in my hand, and said "Give it back when you move out."

It really just plain asinine to hand someone a Dangerous Game rifle (in this case IIRC a .577 T-REX) without telling them how to lean into it.Even they way he is standing is all wrong for this.

You’re absolutely correct sir. This is the .577 T REX.

It generates a little bit of push back.

This is a fun article and quick read. The comparison to the .308 is crazy.
