What's your favorite semi-auto centerfire rifle?

That one was my Dad’s. Came to me when he died in 2005. He bought it in 1972 so he would have something with a little more “punch” than the M2 the Alabama Highway Patrol issued the troopers.
Have made it a point to kill a deer( or 5) with it every year since I got it.

I only have 4 centerfire semi-autos and of them I suppose the Ruger Mini 14 Ranch Rifle is my favorite of those 4 that I currently own, close second are the other three: Stag Arms AR, Century Arms AK (milled receiver) and my Yugo SKS.

I shoot faster and more accurately with that gun than most do with a semi. Best deer day is 5 shots 5 downed does in about as many seconds.
7 for 7 on running pigs in about 5 seconds.

The AR platform. Easy to repair /assemble and trouble shoot .
Everyone in the family can be taught how to operate it as the weight and recoil are manageable even for small frame people .
