Lane splitting should be allowed during congested, slow moving traffic.

    Just my opinion.
    I'm sure most won't agree.
    Absolutely should be explicitly permitted.

The best argument against it is "I can't do that in my car" which is really about as thoughtful as saying no one should be able to eat a BigMac because they dont serve them at Burger King

Funny but I don't see it as much of a problem. Let people get on with their lane splitting. It helps clear out everything.

But Idaho stops for bicycles? Those help me understand why some people try to run over bicyclists. :)

And fantastic weather, enjoy! Jealous . . .

I was looking at the flyer just before my TGT scan but I'm scheduled for work this afternoon, literally waiting for boss to let me know if I can have today off. I washed my bike last night in case it's a yes. :p

Are you doing the street or DS ride?

Damn, wish I had known about this ride. I’d have certainly made the trek up to participate. Sunday was the best riding weather we’ve seen in a long time.

I did the street ride. Was a pretty good route through part of the forest. 149 to 1375 (I think) to the roundabout at I45 and back.

Unfortunately I passed a wreck on 149 near the edge of the forest ~4 miles before Richards on my way back from Montgomery. Couldn't tell if it was just a SUV or if a bike was tangled up in with it. Lots of people and vehicles around with somebody waiting on medical.

An eclectic group of 10 bikes (1 out of view) and 12 riders, all pretty cool, mea culpa.

Guy on the far right shift linkage popped off and dug into the road launching him on an off road excursion. He'll be sore tomorrow but it could have been a lot worse! Bike repairs TBD.

The lady in red rode the yellow Honda 929rr. "Lady" because she definietly didn't ride like a silly girl. :green:
