Has anyone (but me) actually taken the time to read the books?
Crush, kill, mangle, maim, destroy.
AFAIK, the timeline of the TV show has gone beyond the published books. Martin has shared with the producers the basic plot points and how each character winds up in the books; it's up to the TV show writers to, essentially, make it up as they go along and hit those goals.I have not. I didn't want to confuse the story as told in the books with the story of the TV show.
That wasn't the way I understood that. What you say is true, yes, but I was under the impression that due to her inexperience as a youth and her hubris as an adult, she didn't understand the prophecy, didn't take it to heart, and would only realize what it truly meant after her children were dead. She already knew he was going to die anyway, it was prophesied to her. She saw it coming decades earlier and had all the time in the world to cope with it.
Agreed.I don't see a reason to start a new one.
I've found people either love it or can't stand it. There seem to be very few in the middle ground.I tried to watch this show, but couldn't stand it.
Second go around today...Just now watching it.
"What do dragons eat anyway?"
"Anything they want..."

He never left. He was killed and came back as "zombie mountain".Is Hathor making a return as The Mountain?
