Best stopping power? One shot stop? Seems to match what I saw on the streets.

I can’t figure out if the reference to 22cal is distinguished between centerfire or rimfire - does “22cal” lump 22LR and .223 together?
    Did I miss it?

"One-Shot Stop" was a thing back in the 70's.

In the current year we measure "stopping power" by Mag Dump.

17 wound channels trumps 11 all day long.

If wound channels equal stopping power, I choose 10 Guage with "00" buckshot. My loads are 16 pellets per shot...holds 5 rounds
    Survey says...86 wound channels.
    Ouch.

Civilians can't afford that kind of potential liability from even one of those 17 going astray into a bystander. THAT is the biggest thing being ignored - but please continue.
