Thanks for suggestion. If the fix is that easy, I will find the real thing quickly. I have a much heavier military web belt that is wider to point it won't go through the Wrangler belt loops, would be on top of that. My wife me to wear Wranglers that are tight and lower waist. She is quite a bit younger than I am. Hee hee hee

    see; https://www.suspenderstore.com/2-inch-wide-solid-pin-clip-suspenders/

The ’’Suspender Store’’ also carries stronger logger & fireman suspenders. Those above have always been sufficient for me, even with the G21 & 2 or 3 extra mags.

I wish I had found these earlier in life.

The belt is 1-1/2" wide 5/32' belt leather. It is not tooled, but is very sturdy. The holster is very heavy bull of buffalo hide, molded, fits perfect. Was made specifically for my pistol. The problem is with me, am relatively skinny, long torso, short legs, and soon to be 76. Don't have enough butt, have a little bit of belly. Earlier suggested suspenders might be a solution.

But thank you for the suggestion.

The pistol is an Uberti 1873 SASS Pro revolver. Very nice pistol. Could not be better workmanship. Beretta owns Uberti.
Not knocking on your choices. Not all holsters are created equal. For heavy revolvers a pancake holster spreads the weight better than most any other holster. Couple that with a real gun belt it will make that 3 lbs carry much better. I routinely carry heavy wheel guns in a pancake holster and a Kore gun belt all day and don't notice the weight. Admittedly I wouldn't carry a single action revolver for defense from humanoids but I have known some serious SASS shooters that could reload very fast if the situation requires it. Uberti is a very nice wheel.

You were right about the belt. I had a heavy web pistol belt in my collection, that I never used. I figured how to move the adjustment of the belt by unlatching the end, It has something stiff inside the webbing. Probably metal as you related. It really did make a big difference. But that belt will have to be used over the belt for my Wranglers. I had to remove the movable side of buckle to get the web belt in the opening on the back of the holster. And after inserting the webbing through the holster I put the end back on. It quick unbuckles now.

Ruger Mark IV with a threaded barrel.
6.5 Grendel upper, already got the wife a Howa mini bolt action in 6.5 Grendel. Seems like a fun round so far.
    Colt Python.
Were you thinking about 6.5 Grendel in an AR format? I don't own one, only recently built my 1st AR. I did look at the 6.5 Grandel option. It has very good ballistics. Only issue I saw was availability of brass, I reload quiet a few calibers already. I did see some available on Powder Valley, there are a lot of items on sale, think some of it is inventory dump at factories in the Vista Outdoor Products sale to the CZ group. Short term, there may be some availability that may be followed by another tight inventory situation.

The brass is out there: https://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/dept/reloading/rifle-brass/6-point-5-grendel
I've been shooting it long enough to have accumulated a decent amount. It's a great cartridge and definitely packs more of a punch than 5.56.

Agree. I can get part way there with my 5.56x45 using heavier bullet (70 gr). But you cannot argue with the case size on the 6.5 Grendel. I'll have to post a photo of what I put together., it is not light. heavy 18" 8:1 twist barrel, maple stock and the right load.
