I'm very happy that my home state of Virginia finally voted out a Dem. What I don't understand is why was it so close? Why would that many people vote to continue down the path that we've been on?

The reason it was so close is that the Democrats eliminated any kind of id requirement for all mail in ballots shortly before the election plus they had many polling places denying entry to anyone not wearing a mask.

You can safely assume a minimum of 25% of the mail in ballots to be fraudulent and perhaps 5% or more the legitimate voters walked away after being denied access to the polls from the dummy mask requirements.

And Virginia elected its first latino Attorney General, Republican Jason Miyares, son of Cuban immigrants.

And CNN is screaming that the Virginia election is about "white ignorance"

Also the Lt. Governorship with Republican Winsome Sears, the first black woman, handily beating the Dems.

Virginia Republicans have likely also gained the Attorney General office, and the House majority.

All of these positions previously held by Dems, and a state that "elected" Biden. A rebuke against commie policies in regards to police and especially education. Congrats to Virginia.

And one of the first things she said upon winning was the she didn't run to make history. Good for her!
