+1 David is a great guy to work with."Old cannon" in far east pflugerville is still doing xfers at reasonable rates as of 2 months ago.
Yep - I dunno about the "new" owners but I bought two boxes of Winchester White Box 44 magnum a few years ago.I didn't like the old store but the new one and new owners seem much better.
Bring up Google maps and just type in FFL. I know I was amazed at the number of FFL's in the area...This is a running thread...has anyone posted that "FFL finder" link? I think it has transfer fees on it.
Used GT for an FFL transfer earlier this year. My rifle was delivered to them on a Monday, but they didn't call me until that Thursday for pick up.I just used GT for an FFL transfer on a lower. UPS told me they had delivered Monday morning so I called at noon. Turns out their "policy" is 24-48 hrs after receipt unless you want to pay an additional $25 rush fee.
In fact they called me the next morning so 24 hrs it was. This may be a deal breaker for anyone needing it ASAP.
I used Hill Country Ammo on Dessau Road. Transfers are 15 bucks. Hill Country Ammo
Not a store front, you have to schedule with him. Very nice guy, will use him in the future.
Thanks for that. His firearm prices aren't too bad either; i.e., Shields for $363. I'll give him a shot (no pun intended) at pricing what I was going to order online and see if he is close. I have several things I want to buy.
Brothers in Arms on 71 in Bastrop County charged me $25. I presented a CHL so not sure if there was a discount because of that.
Not much of one. CTGW on 71 in Austin is $15 w/CHL, $7.50 w/CHL + TexasLawShield.
See post #134Who are people in North Austin/Round Rock area using for transfers these days?
