Those antics are the direct cause of signs going up so early - people have that image in their mind and say "not here!"

Exactly. HEB for over 20 years has not posted a sign prohibiting legal carry. OCTard hits the scene and so do the signs. Other businesses as well. Abbot was solidly behind OC before all of the shenanigans, what passed( the watered down bill) is a direct result of a bunch of asshats acting like a bunch of asshats.

I truly believe that the OCT shenanigans are directly responsible for the signs and the watered down bill.

If they (HEB)spent 20 years not giving a shit about lawful carry, then the OCTard crowd gets face time going in various restaurants and venues with their tapcofucked bubba rifles while they finger bang the triggers, or show up for a demonstration wearing a Stars and Stripes leotard with a mask, and the Guy Fawkes mask wearers, and the various "tier 1 operators" are the only ones that the owners and managers see, then of course they are going to post. They don't want those assholes scaring off their customers. Losing Fatty and Snowboots and their ilk will not affect their bottom line as severely as losing Suzy Soccermom and her neighbors.

Next time, instead of taking a page from the gay pride handbook on how to be a flaming thong wearer, try just dressing and acting like adults and just go with normal clothes and a blue or red gun in a holster. You would be surprised at how much this will be a non starter for the media, and how much of a non starter it will be for the public at large.

HEB in Boerne has their 30.07 signs posted, but, the location really sucks. The signs are located at the very bottom of the sliding doors, when the doors are open (when aren't they open) the signs cannot be seen just walking in because they are hidden bay other signs in front of them or sales displays in front of the open doors. I've already complained to the management about the poor locaation and how it could get an unwitting person screwed.
Attached is a picture of the english sign, the spanish sign is on the other door. I had to get behind the sign to get this picture.

Again, not true. I had a lot of non-gunners asking me about their antics and whether I supported them. I adamantly said I didn't, and still don't. Anyone who thinks these nutbags had anything to do with OC being passed is highly disillusional, if anything, they did more to threaten the bill not passing through their clownish antics. And I think they have had a lasting detrimental effect on expanding our gun rights any further. Every time these jackasses hold one of the "events" the public sees them representing us all and wonders if we are to be trusted. They don't see the law-abiding, rational and professional individuals who are working hard for the cause, they see some fairy dressed up in an American flag leotards wonder just what his fucking problem is!

And I think they do contribute to the 30.07 signs popping up. Walking around a Starbucks or an HEB with an AR on your back and all dressed in tacticool gear isn't necessary even if it's legal. Act like an idiot and you can expect to be treated like one. But thanks to these morons advancing their cause (and it's not the same as the rest of us), we're all going to pay a price.

I never said I supported the OCT clownish types. I support their right to do what they do, but disagree with their tactics and maybe question some of their motives. All that being said, I don't understand the lingering hostility. OC is legal, what's the point of bickering about this shit.
