This really sucks. The tards scared people so 30.07 signs are going up, and lots of places are simply slapping up both signs. Before I thought the OCT crowd was just dumb kids but now Im pissed off.

But this thread isn't about 30.07. Not really. It's about places that since they have decided to post 30.07 they are going ahead and also posting 30.06. Somehow I don't think they are going to change their minds in 6 months that since there hasn't been major issues they will allow 30.06 again. We've had concealed carry for more than long enough for their minds to be made up already. No, in the most part, in these cases we are screwed.

Some of these places are the ones who posted 30.06 the first time around. Or even the 30.05 signs before. If they came down once, why do you think we're screwed and they won't come down again?

Sure it will take some periodic lobbying and reminders on our part, but why is it you seem to have given up already without staying in it for the long haul?

I get the notifications for Houston, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi. The first day I got about 50 of these. Since then it has been about 15 a day. Roughly, a third of these are posting both the 30.06 and the 30.07 signs. So now, I can carry in fewer places than before. I was afraid that might happen.

Doesn't mean they weren't posted before, means they weren't reported.

Sure, some additional places posted, but I think we're all keying on the reporting vs. the actual deltas.

I can't speak for his specific situation but I know for my area it's nothing to do with reporting its a cold hard fact that business are now putting both .06/.07 signs up when there weren't any signs last month. Places I've carried concealed many times I can now not legally carry at all. I really don't know what to think of all of this. I keep hearing how this was expected and that its all part of the way it goes but it's really disheartening to see it going like this.

That said, been keeping a close eye on the emails from 30.06.com and none of the places posted both are places I've ever frequented, and now I never will.

Easy... Property rights are no longer respected. A business has a right to refuse service to anyone they wish, but that right is being infringed under certain circumstances.

So we need to start a damn religion that is about the conservation of constitutional rights. Then anyone who denies those rights can be sued and we win. Damn I might be on to something here.

My work had not been posted prior to yesterday.....now we have 30.06 and 30.07 posted.......Company Policy did not allow me to carry while at work but had not had a policy for customers prior to this......not happy, but what can you do?
