The only thing that bugged me about last night was the way the emergency alerts on my cell phone knocked me out of bed. After the first round of them, I went back to sleep. After the second round, I got smart and turned off my phone. After tonight, ...
Dang! Those poor folks got hammered north of Houston.
Prayers for them. That has to suck.
Since that last sentence was actually on-topic (!), can anybody provide any insight on that subject? ASC's web site still says they'll be partially open tomorrow. BRI's site says nothing, so I guess we're still relying on the last email update that says we can't get in until the reservoir drops below 90 feet. Oddly enough, the site I use to monitor the level at Addicks seems to be stuck and not updating: http://waterdatafortexas.org/reservoirs/individual/addicks
So thank to MReed, there is no ASC this weekend, opening is postponed to next weekend.
On a positive note, Lake Travis is the most full I've ever seen it, and it looks beautiful.
