I think this depends a lot on where you're at... my last residence I was 4+ days for any Amazon delivery.I think its time to change the name to Prime 4+days to delivery.
Last 5 out of 7 things ordered took 4+days to get here with 2 day prime
Rant over.

The claim is free two day shipping, not you will get your item in two days.
I hear ya.
I ordered an LEM Big Bite #5 meat grinder on Monday. It arrived yesterday but the bastards sent me an LEM Big Bite #8!
Upgrading my order without my permission and shit without charging me for the more expensive product. Jerks.
I try not to have much faith in shipping and delivery dates.
I've found things shipped from the Amazon Warehouse do much better than 3rd party. It also seems that most delays not weather related are due to delays on getting the package out of the warehouse, still not something I've run in to with Amazon as much as their 3rd party Prime sellers.
I live on the outskirts of the city of Burnet and 6-8 months ago 95%of 2 day deliveries made it in 2 days.
as far as cussing and screaming. It was not like it was stuff I had to have so its not a big deal. Just seems like a load of crap <--- almost as bad as Trump saying shithole.
That. Is. Hilarious! One recent one I ran the tracking number and it said "invalid address could not deliver. See note left on door".
Most of my Prime stuff gets here fast. Of course, San Marcos has a distribution center. I've gotten stuff in a couple of hours after I ordered it.
