Been one of those days...bought a beat up used gun for $90, found it brand new less than 4 hours later for $120.

Anyway, baby back ribs and pork tenderloin on the smoker . Trying to watch Columbo and handle the smoker during commercials. Everything is going good. One hour in, I spritz them with apple juice . 10-15 minutes later I do a check on wood and temperature and see the bottle of "apple juice " is actually a bottle of "Awesome " cleaner I grabbed by mistake!!!

I rinsed the heck out of them, gave them several hot baths followed by more rinsing . Oh well, they're darn sure clean now . Prolly be ok, but maybe I should have stayed in bed today .

    Pressure cooked Cranberry beans.

Don't let the name throw you off. It's a species of pinto beans to where the normally brown splotchy marks are the color of cranberries. They taste the same to me. The GF swears they don't. Whatever.

Fried some bacon in the bottom of cooker. Mopped off the extra grease.

Chopped white onion, a couple of sliced tomatoes. Pepper, garlic, onion powder, cumin and some other spices. One whole jalapeno.

I soaked the beans all day but didn't have too. Soaking gives a better texture and quicker cooking time. Vegetable broth out a container and three beef bouillon cubes.

Pressure cooked on high. 15mins. If I hadn't soaked the beans. 20mins.

I pulled some of those cranberries out of a mixed bean package. Somehow or another , either didn't get planted or didn't sprout. Never eaten them, thanks for the heads up ( kinda what I expected).

Got some ribs I smoked last night. A couple of stumbles, one being accidentally grabbing a bottle of Awesome cleaner instead of the spray bottle of apple juice. (Only sprayed once.)

Several rinses and alternate hot baths later ,I doubt they'll kill me. I don't taste anything amiss anyway . They came out pretty good, but I am going to stick to apple juice in the future.

I'll be eating some of them. Don't know what else yet...( I eat late.)

New York strip steak with stove top stuffing plus egg and steamed broccoli.

The steaks in the multipacks are cut in half and frozen. Took the bag out to thaw and poured Worcester sauce in the bag. After it thawed, I dried it off. Ground salt and ground pepper to both sides.

I pan fried them. A mix of strong sesame oil and some olive oil. Thrown in the pan when it measured 420°. Cooked each side for 2 1/2 minutes. A-1 sauce to dress it out.

Fried a couple of sunny side up eggs to put on top the stuffing. Seasoned with Tabasco. Salt and pepper.

Broccoli with butter. Texas Pete hot sauce on that.

    PBR for the drink.
