I was a bit ignorant about how the midterm voting worked. As in: I didn’t know if our votes counted like a Texas popular vote or if we had to win counties and such.
Husband told me that they are like each vote is weighed equally and it counts like a popular vote in Texas.
And then he was like “and we MADE a voter!” I was like “yeah right and I’m gonna make sure he gets to the polls too.”
And then he said “and we got two more voters we made coming up soon too.”
We are way too into this.

Because my cousin supports Robert on FB, I see his feeds. Every time a new one rolls out, I comment on it. The replies I generate are funny but predictable. Very few can even logically debate a topic. I have been called thrash in Spanish, a c*nt, troll (That part is true) and told I don't understand Democratic Socialism.

I am not sure that is true, as he seems to be polling well. But I am voting for Cruz regardless. I hope the Rs don't get complacent this midterm election. That could give Beto the boost he needs. Don't be lazy, make sure you vote!

I agree. Beto is atrociously bad when he's not speaking to a crowd of swooning liberals. It would be to his advantage to avoid debating Cruz, who will eat him alive and ask for seconds.
Sadly, that won't change the mind of a single liberal but it might wake the rest of us up enough to see how important it is to keep this socialist out of office, and to derail Obama 2.0 before it gets any further down the tracks.
