This seems to me as one person writing both sides. After being gone for 5 years and the store owner knowing what he was posting means they both are in collusion.

Not sure what you would do. The owner has every right to be a dick and drive away business.

Yep. Many years ago I was in Waco visiting my in-laws. My FIL loves him some donuts, so I stopped by the Shipley's there to buy him some.

I was also buying a gun off a buddy, so I stopped by the bank and got $600, all in hundreds.

I thought I had a couple $20's in there too. But when it was time to pay for my donuts, I cringed. Only hundred dollar bills in my wallet. I felt kind of bad, but it was all I had.

The manager at the Shipley's berated and cussed me like a monster, in front of about 10 other customers, for paying for $10 worth of donuts with a hundred. It was pretty embarrassing.

So I have never been back to a Shipley's anywhere, although only the Waco guy dissed me. Every time I look for donuts, I go almost anywhere but a Shipley's. So suck on that you bald, customer hating bastid.

He probably only had about hundred dollars in change.

If you didn’t like your MIL, why would you cause pain to a poor innocent little animal?

Unlikely. It was around 10am, so he should have had a couple thousand I would guess. I felt bad for doing it, but it was all I had. Either way, it didn't deserve the cussing and dressing down he gave me.

Its becoming pretty obvious why you got kicked out of that gun store store!

Kindness to animals is a trait gun owners can’t possess?

Nice to see there are tough guys here who like to inflict pain on animals that don’t know any better and did nothing to them. Real tough.

If someone did that to your dog or pet, I’m sure you’d have a whole different take on the situation.

Hence my remark about it being painfully obvious why you got kicked out of that store. You assume a lot of shit then cop an attitude when you realize your wrong. You really need to read more and post less. I don't hate my mother in law. I didn't feed a dog a donut in a vile attempt to harm it. I literally thought the doggy would enjoy a glazed donut. How was I to know it couldn't digest it enough to take a proper shit? My bad for thinking that's funny. What's happened with your experience at this shop is simple. Your bad, condescending attitude was meet with one that was worse. Your really lucky you didn't get your ass handed to you on a silver platter.

It doesn’t matter if you knew it would hurt the dog or not, the fact you got amusement out of it tells me enough.

Go ahead and go to your store. You obviously found your niche. Birds of a feather and all that.

If someone hurt your dog and laughed about it, I suppose you’d think it’s funny too? I really don’t understand some people. Tough guys who accuse others of being condescending when they themselves are condescending and indifferent to others’ pain or misfortune.

Meh, its been at least 10 years. But he was a bald middle aged white man. Seemed to be a manager or owner. Either way, he was a dick.

That guy's treatment of you was out of line. If he didn't have the change, he could have just said so.

But the thing is, unfortunately, is that it was a Shipley's. People need their donut fix, so he probably got away with that kind of behavior. Just be glad it wasn't a Krispy Kreme.

Think of it as a "no soup for you" scenario. Sorry.

I got dumped on by a turd in a store once because I too only had a $100.00 bill n me.

Is proffering one to pay for something some sort of sin or something immoral or illegal or what have you?

No it isn't and if someone in business can't handle a $100.00 bill then get the hell out of business. You're no businessman.........
