When I was young, yeah.I vaguely remember breakfast I think, isn't that the meal that you would eat at Denny's early in the morning after a night of partying?
Denny's, IHOP or House of Pies.I vaguely remember breakfast I think, isn't that the meal that you would eat at Denny's early in the morning after a night of partying?
In the 70's and 80's Denny's was everywhere, if we wanted IHOP we would have had to go out of our way. We were often in no condition to be driving anywhere, let alone out of our way.De

Yes I know.....I grew up in central Houston.
Memories of interesting people in the wee hours come flooding back....House of Pies.

Hell I was told to avoid the House of Guys!Memories of interesting people in the wee hours come flooding back.
Great food and interesting people makes it worthwhile. Being surrounded by a mostly-gay crowd (which, to be fair, is not all the time) is no problem to me. I can see where the crowd would be offputting to some folks at some times, though.Hell I was told to avoid the House of Guys!
My comment was is Judas Priest in town that very first time to drive pasting the wee hours.Great food and interesting people makes it worthwhile. That's a perfectly reasonable reaction. Sometimes. Pretty much always in the wee hours, as you said.My comment was is Judas Priest in town that very first time to drive pasting the wee hours.
Sambo's?There was another one we went to after partying, but I can't come up with the name, lol.
Better food than Denny's, I thought.Had a Sambo's in Killeen in the mid '70s. Better food than the others. The Kettle here has never been very good.
