Alcoholism runs in my family. I was blessed that it skipped me. I can go months without having a drink no issue, I will socially drink whenever the mood hits me.
Now, I am addicted to smoking, never been able to break that habit, yet.

I might have 1 margarita a year. I never developed a taste for beer or wine.
I've probably had less than 30 drinks my entire life (and I'm 60). I'm not against drinking, just don't get much out of it. My wife drinks at least a glass of wine every night (sometimes as many as 3).
When we go anywhere, I'm the designated driver.
