Had to address some drainage issues on the side of the Grillzebo. Got the roof dried in with felt paper. My brother came over early one morning and we installed all the shingles in about three hours and beat the rain storm. Also finished the rough in electrical for it. 60 amp service to the Grillzebo, (2) 20 amp circuits and (2) 15 amp circuits.

Progress has slowed down with the holiday season. My brother gave me the idea to put tongue and groove paneling on the inside of the ceiling. This job was almost as bad as building the rafters lol

The last two photos here is to show how bright the lights ( run thru a dimmer switch) are underneath. It is pitch black outside, no other light on.

    Impressive project!

Seems like a lot of work just to get out of the sun when cooking though. Why not just tell the wife to do her job?
When I moved to Texas I was told that barbecuing, grilling and smoking was the man’s job…

Did I mention that this will have a full size “beer” refrigerator in it? That will make it all worthwhile in the end lol

    Nice!

I've never thought about a beer fridge.

My better half just brings them to me...same with scotch and bourbon.

I got the bathroom enclosed and paneled, and finally finalize the sink/bench area in my mind so that’s gonna go forward now.

I got the back 1/2 Wall built and cut the exterior sided and hardIe plank. When we bought the house the previous owner left a empty bucket of paint that was used on the exterior, so I went to Sherwin Williams and got 2 gallons in the same color so the Grillzebo will match the house. With his nice is the weather is going to be over the next two days I think painting is on my to do list.

Outside shower temporarily installed and mounted where it’s going to go. Had to do this to figure out how to run the plumbing, before I finish the last little bit of paneling inside the bathroom and start the sink/ bench.

    Out here by the lake!
I'll mention it to the little lady.

I don't really care as long as she's bringing me a cold one when I say, "Beer me".
The nice thing about the Coke merchandiser is its a bit easier to load. Kegerators sit low, & when the compressor goes its more money & hassle. Even an old fridge if it still keeps your beer 34 degrees is good.

Depending on how many kegs you want to keep(we stacked kegs in coke merchandisers) the shelves can be kept in place high for storage of other things. You can also modify old soda canister to have anything on tap.

Never believe me, I am a big fat liar.

20 years ago, after my last foray into tiling, I swore I would never do tiling again. But here I am. I got all the tiles cut and did a dry layout. Going to Lowes tomorrow to pick up tile adhesive and knocking it out in the am.

This will be my last tiling job, I swear!

    Very Very nice!
My wallet just jumped out of my pocket and headed for the hills.
lol. My wallet left me months ago.

So far it has just been materials, and I do work hard at getting those a a good price.

All the labor has been “ free “ by me. (Other than the concrete pour)
