There's a grab off a news station that was playing scanner traffic (illegal, IIRC) and you could clearly hear "burn it down" on one of the transmissions.

Also; lots of full auto fire coming from the cops' side in that fight. Gah, so much wrong with this situation.

Deploying smoke grenades. Oops, those were WP. How'd those get in there? Oh well problem solved.

One of the guys I went to HS with is a local firefighter now. I sent him a message on FB asking him about this. I'm still waiting to hear back. Either way-who keeps multiple wallets? In his case, I can see one badge carrier and one wallet. Now, we're up to two wallets and a badge carrier.

Yeah. I think my military brain overrode that bit of information. Never spent much time around CS grenades. Smoke, frag and WP were all we needed.

I'm not saying he didn't. I just don't like it when things seem a little off. Plus, I have a feeling the LAPD is putting a spin on this. So I'm curious to see what else comes out.

In both instances the witnesses to LEO corruption were torched in order to avoid humiliating show trials- in my opinion.

Good or bad what happened at the cabin was an execution. Guy was pinned between a fire that was intentionally set and a hail of bullets.

Not saying he didn't earn it but not sugar coating what happened.

Execution? Really? Perhaps our definitions vary greatly. What happened at that cabin had no resemblance of an execution to anyone I know.

I totally agree.

He gave up his rights when he started murdering people.

I just wish they would come out and say "Hell yeah we burned his ass up. We were tired of him kicking our asses." But that will never happen.

You are right, it wasn't random. He wrote a psychotic manifesto and released it and then went out and shot innocents that were not cops, but cops family members. There are a ton of witnesses to his numerous treacherous acts. There is no tin foil here. Sorry to disappoint.

Yep... I also know some LE that have some insight. I received multi-page emails from California LE and Federal LE, daily, for 6 days when they thought they had sightings of Dorner headed east bound out of California.

I have listened to interviews with witnesses who confirm that the things he was saying verbally matched those which he wrote in his manifesto.

That's enough for me.
