Unless it's raining, or snowing or we have some sort of invasion from North Korea or some Islamic terrorists that would cause me to pull out my AR, I"m in.

Please don't shoot, I only look like one! I got an accent but not that kind ;)

I think I'll try harder to make this. Is this a private range and/or do they have nannies that'll nose around NFA items?

It is a private range. I have seen NFA items shot there before. I couldn't tell you about the nosing around but they do occasionally have full auto events.

Just wondering if you would be interested in an outdoor range meet. I talked to Chris today from ProActive and he gave the thumbs up. First I want to see if the interest is there then we can get a date and time set.

I am sure the meet address are correct just wondering why the difference. One is from the range website and the other is from TGT.

    Quail Creek Range
    I-35W @ FM 1171
    Argyle, TX 76226
    Office: 940-648-3356

    13800 Farm-to-Market 1171
    Northlake, TX 76262

    (817) 400-0882

I didn't realize that. I took one of the addresses from google maps and just pasted it. My mistake. Thanks for pointing that out, I would have be quite lonely at the wrong range! lol

Actually it's in the same place. At 1171 and 35W if you head west on 1171 it looks like the road ends. It becomes a gravel road. The road continues for about 1/4 mile then ends. At the end the entrance is on the right. Follow the driveway in. Towards the end by the parking lot you will see a building with a sign "CHL Classes" the driveway continues to the left of that building and goes up the hill. That is where ProActive is.

Yep, I been there last weekend. Head west over the 1171/35 overpass, on the dirt road, go right when it ends or you'll hit the pipe fence. You'll come to parking lot and you'll see trees and cars (this is the lower lot). Look to your left at that building with the CHL classes sign and you want to drive up that real steep gravel driveway on the left. Parking is tight up there so don't be surprised if you have to back down the drive or not even go up. Just walk and park in that first lot of trees. With as many said they'd attend I'd bet on parking in the lower lot.

You will sign in when you get to the top. The little office is there on the right.

From the sound of this reply and the next one I better take my GPS and a big bag of dry bread crumbs to leave a trail to follow in case I get lost on the gravel road.

    However I will be there...
