I have been wanting to try a cave-man style steak where you take a large porterhouse steak and cook it right on the coals

    has anyone done that?

If you going, take the wallet and the wife. Got some good places to eat and catch a cocktail (like Tommy Bahama's for a Mojito in Market street), Gooses Acre and Baker Street for Pub food, Grimaldi's for Pizza, Coal Burger for a unique tasting burger cooked over......well actual coal, and a bunch of others all within a short walk in the waterway district. That place has a lot to offer, but you will pay a premium.

That study was fairly bogus IMO. It did not look at whether these people had the right balance of omega 6s with the omega 3s. Also did not look at exactly how those omega 3s were being prepared. Whether you like it or not pretty much any oil when heated or not stored properly away from light is going to degrade and even turn it into something harmful long term. Then again cooking in general does this to all foods pretty much. Kind of screwy how most people don't have a strong enough immune system to eat most foods raw like every other animal on the planet.

Its not just a single study, but in fact several of them over several years possibly linking high dosages to prostate cancer and that the Fish Oil caps really do not much of anything, its the fish that do. Which leads me to believe that its not the fish oil by itself but rather something in fish that provides the benefits. This happens all the time in study results. People that eat fish have less this therefore it must be the fish oil thus we can put it in a cap and not have to eat all those fish. BONK wrong conclusion. I have been taking it for almost 15 years and was on MEGA dosing for a while (doc prescribed and prescription grade Fish Oil caps) and I had no results that were positive. During that time I developed prostate issues. I have since cut back to only 2 caps a day and my prostate issues have disappeared...
