i have never had a 870 ejector to fail. Only issues i have had were due to swelled ammo. I have a old 1100 from the sixties. dont shoot it much, waas my dads. but never had any issues with it.just my .02 cents.I dont have a ton of experience with shotguns. Perhaps im following the wrong youtubers?
How likely is an 870 ejector to fail? The 590 is easy to replace. Regarding safety position i suppose a big safety could improve the 870. Finally the safety would let me run a Mesa Tactical recoil reducing stock which does interest me.
Are 1100/1187s real reliable? They dont seem as popular as they once were.
