Are you assuming you will see them in the parking lot putting on their masks and I'm a bad guy tshirt while they walk toward the door waving their guns for all to see, or are you just planning on shooting anyone who shows a pistol as they come in the door? Or have you figured out a way (and defense) to ID them as they walk in before they pull out their weapons?

One CHL against 6 bad guys. I wouldn't call it suicide because strange things can happen when bullets start to fly, but I sure wouldn't like the odds.

Then perhaps you should rethink your wardrobe, holster, or start practicing moving in different manners as to not expose your weapon as you get down and raise your hands.

I figured if I'm in line, I might see the first guy come through the door brandishing a weapon in hand (not holstered, not on a sling on the back, etc.) since I usually check people coming in the door, and I usually sit facing the door as well. Like I said, if all 6 were inside before I drew my weapon, it would not be a very smart move at that point. But seeing the first one or two come open the door, a few shots fired would probably (emphasis probably) send the rest in retreat.
They made them lie on the floor, I would guess hands on their heads as well. I think most people's mid drifts would show in that situation. I have been carrying for 5 years almost every day with my IWB holster and Glock 26 and have never had an accidental exposure, but there are unnatural body postures, such as that one, in which case it would probably become exposed. I'm not going to wear a trenchcoat every time I carry.

There's a drive thru at every single McDonald's....no need to leave the safety of a fortified position... :-)

You have been watching too many TV shows. Or is your real name Steven Segal? ;)

Damn right. I drive an armored car. Lol.

It's still a safer position than being in the restaurant. Vehicle offers an escape route and some cover.

Since we are "postulating"; unless you get blocked in by other cars and are blocked in. In LE we call a vehicle a kill zone. If you cannot drive away in a vehicle being attacked, unassing is wise. ;)

Agreed. However, if it gets that bad, I've got 500 foot-pounds of torque available...I'll make a mess until I can get to better ground.
