Man, thanks for giving us a update. She is an angel, and like I said before..............she has mad a hell of an impact on me. Tell her to hang in there and that she has a heck of a following & support group here at TGT.

Daryl is right. My mother-in-law had breast cancer that came back four times and she continued to press on, even in her 40s. Katie can do this.

Got to see my Katie today as her and the family came down for a little while. The surgeon has agreed that it is good enough to perform now. Her surgery is set for May 23! I tried to take a pic with her today, but she wasn't having it. (She is a homebody and gets cranky when she has to leave home and doesn't have something she enjoys to keep her attention....good thing is, I once gave her an air soft gun to play with, and she spent over an hour shooting with it in the backyard!)

yes, yes, yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's our Katie girl!!! Fighting all the way! Make sure and tell her we love her and WE GOT HER BACK......Man that girl is my hero, to steal a line from Kevin Durant, "She is the real MVP!"

After the surgery, we were waiting for results from testing, and this is a text I got a few days ago from Kim:

Of course there is always re-occurrence risk, but as for now, the cancer is down for the count!
