I'm off this time, and I'm going to try and make it. Might even bring my son and or the wife. No not the wife. The 2nd is her B-day, she won't be any fun. I know I'll see about bring a gun buddy or 2 instead.

Hey, I did not see it any where. Will there be food? I'm a fat guy, and I need food...

Socks, underwear and jrky should top the list in my experiences. Just make sure the socks are not those little ankle things... boot socks are ideal....:patriot:

Just adding, from my experiences. The best socks are the black tube socks made out of wool, nylon, and cotten. Just insure the are the high ones that cover the cafe. I wore the cotten ones and felt they were the best. I am real sure you can pick these up cheap at a Mil Surplus store like "The Command Post. There a few around Houston. See pictures.

    some newb questions

    My newb questions:

    1. Are rifles allowed? (Guessing no)
    2. Does 223 (5.56) count as a pistol round?
    3. What about a Kel-Tec Sub 2000 folding stock carbine in 9mm? :)

    Thanks.

PS -- I'll have a digital camera and HD video camera.

The Sig rifles might be allowed, but I think we will want to keep the rifles to a minimum. The ranges are optimized for pistols, so the rifle rounds will tend to cause more splash back and other issues. Noise may also be a bit of a factor.

    Bring the cameras Brian.

9mm is good to go, even in carbines.

Anything above a pistol caliber (5.56 pistol does not count!) is going to be Sig only. That is you can shoot any Sig rifle that we will have available here. We will bend the rules for the good folks from Sig. Any pistol caliber rifle is just fine. GET JACKED UP BOYS, ITS ALMOST TIME TO MAKE SOME NOISE FOR THE 1ST CAVALRY!!!
