    Gunz are icky.
Been working on obtaining a Colt-Paterson Italian reproduction.
Seems they are rather difficult to find.
They import them in very small batches and they sell out quickly.
This makes the Moonpie a sad panda.

It looks like I'm not going to achieve my goal of a 38 or 357 snub nose this year. I've purchased 3 other firearms, but no snubby. Going to rein it in for 6 months or so.

If I miss that badly I deserve to buy new stuff :)

    Sent from...wait where am I!?
Update for those at home....between teaching a friend to shoot and doing a mag dump on steel at 100ish yards the steel is looking fantastic.....while the aluminum looks like you'd imagine aluminum would look like after taking on fast moving projectiles.....however both target stands are still standing and I got a new person hooked into the shooting world (that makes 2 since moving back to NV)

Get my wife to take the class etc and to start carrying her Glock 43.

So my wife just nailed 249 points out of 250 possible for her LTC test with her little Glock 42...

    Bought a second safe...
Hopefully now I will start shooting more since I can get to stuff.
No matter which rifle I wanted to shoot, it was always at the back of the safe and getting to it was a twenty minute, "unload the safe drill" comparable to an earthquake rescue under a collapsed building.

We're almost half-way into November so just seven more weeks to achieve those goals!

    One minor update for me...

    My shooting goals for 2017...

    For Smallbore Silhouette:
    - Make "AAA" class in Standard Rifle.

I got my second AAA score yesterday. I need one more to meet my goal.

    - Get at least one "Master" class score for either Standard or Hunter Rifle.

    Still working on this one.

    For Air Rifle Silhouette:
    - Make "AAA" class for Target and Open Rifle.

I can't recall exactly when but I made it to AAA for all three air rifles.

    - Get at least one "Master" class score in any rifle.

EDIT: Had to check my scorebook... I got a Master score in Sporter rifle back in June.

Two other goals are for the Rimfire Central Offhand Rifle Challenge:
    - Get a 25-yard score of 485 (out of 500). Best to date is 479.
    - Get a 50-yard score of 225 (out of 250). Best to date is 218.

Already met these goals and bumped them out to 490 and 232 respectively. I'll shoot a set of these targets next weekend.

No more matches are scheduled for the rest of the year so I'm not going to meet these goals. I have two of the three AAA scores needed to move up for Standard class. My best score in Hunter was still three points shy of a Master score.

    For Air Rifle Silhouette:
    - Make "AAA" class for Target and Open Rifle.
    - Get at least one "Master" class score in any rifle.

We had the state air rifle match this past weekend. I ended up with 1st place in AAA Target rifle, 1st place in AAA Sporter, and 3rd place in AAA Open rifle. My two scores for Sporter were both Master scores, combined with my one Master score from back in June moves me up to Master class!

With a few weeks left in the year there is still a few opportunities to meet these goals. Here's to hoping for some good weather the next few weekends!
