I tried to buy the last 4 tulammo 7.62x39 at 410/military and i was denied.

They would not sell to you at all? Did you use the Texas Gun Talk secret password?

Company wide policy effective today:

Ammo is now limited to 1 box per caliber per day, In all the major caliber. .223/5.56, 7.62x39, .22lr, 9mm, .40, .45, .308. Available at CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Just a heads up to you alk.

I overheard an employee at the Academy on my side of town (1604/I35) tell a customer about the policy too. There wasn't anything to buy anyway. Shelves were cleaned out. They had some .45 stuff but that was about it.

Ditto bought a bunch of ammo last night at academy.

mine started the one box thing friday, which was my first day to get there early enough to beat the rush. i was pretty pissed. all the other times i went just after it was open only to see guys carrying boxes and boxes of ammo. the one time i'm early enough to beat those guys it does me no good.

If they squash online purchases and other sporting goods stores follow suit with Acadamy, it'll put a big dent in the training/competition industries.

It was a limit of 100 rounds per caliber on Wed. - so I got 100 to TULA 7.62x39 HP for $29.95 plus tax.

When cabelas started their 10 box limit I just loaded up the wife and a few friends and gave them each some cash and they bought the limit each. They got a free ride to cabelas and I got 10 boxes per person.

My local Academy started a 2 box limit last week when a local LGS went in and bought several cases of Academy's Monarch brand and took it back fo their shop and put a 200% mark up on it. Today they had a 1 box limit on .22, .380, 9mm, .40 and .45 caliber, and .223/5.56. I will be glad when supply catches up with demand.
