There's a difference between felonies and misdemeanors. States are also frequently capable of allowing folks to have their rights restored after a certain time, depending upon that state's law and also depending upon what type of felony the conviction was.But once they do their time why should they be punished for the rest of their lives?
John Smith steals $10k from gramma, does 5 years. Why should he never be allowed to hunt or use a firearm for the rest of his life?
Like one guy said--she hadn't done all her time yet. :meh:I think if a non violent felon did their time they should have a path to their rights restored
I understand that.Like one guy said--she hadn't done all her time yet. :meh:
Only a misdemeanor of a relative.Wait! They've finally made it a felony for Arkies to get p.g.?
Her husband's gun was in the house legally I presume.
I hope she gets a good lawyer. In my eyes she was doing what it takes to defend herself, and that to me takes precedence over any possession charge.
She borrowed the gun from a cop? There has to be more to this.
There has to be more to this.
I’m sure she is pure as the driven snow.
But just who was doing the driving?
He's got an alibi.Ted Kennedy?
So....you and the prosecutor support the deaths of white people and unborn children?Animals have rights, too! Seriously, y'all don't see the problem here?
She WAS A FELON BREAKING THE LAW!!! Not every one gets a gun. VOTING IS A RIGHT. GUN OWNERSHIP IS A RIGHT. WALKING THE STREETS FREE IS A RIGHT.
But convicted crimminals lose some of them!
I know many that don't own guns, and some of those that are afraid of guns, but I don't know any that have access to a gun that wouldn't use it to save their lives.Who do you know, that having been convicted of a MJ charge, and being attacked violently and fearing for their life, wouldn’t grab a gun if one is near and shoot the said attacker in the face?
