I am gonna continue to carry on my right hip, concealed, but if I have a
shirt thats not long enough to conceal it completely, then I wont have to
worry about some cop givin me grief because bottom of my holster is
showing. And yes, I know they fixed that business last time, but you still
got cops out there that couldnt find their azz with both hands, and those kind
will continue to give you a hard time!

for you younger guys, this is a pic of Aunt Edna played by Imogene Coca in National Lampoons Vacation.
They had stopped for a picnic lunch and unloaded the car, food, and dog.
They started eating and Chevy Chase mentioned that the sandwiches were soggy.

Then Helen discovered that the dog has pissed on them. Aunt Edna, already eating hers just paused for a second and then kept on eating, figuring it wasn't that bad.

Well, that's how I feel about getting licensed OC. It's like being fed a sandwich that has been pissed on. I don't like it, but I guess I'd rather have that over nothing.

Thanks Kory.. and everyone who acted like a 24 Karat ass, for the lunch:banghead:

They added A requirement you OC on belt or shoulder holster only. this level of micro-legislation is retarded.

so, if you hang a holster in your waistband and don't wear a belt your break the law?

Senator Zaffirini wants to tag on an amendment requiring licensed open carriers to wear some sort of visible ID while carrying.

That's because she is a moron, which became painfully clear by the stupidity of the questions she asked during the committee hearing.

Like an open gun is not visible ID enough.

Why does our state have so many idiots? AK, AZ, VA,OK has none of this nonsense.

I guess the senator believes that if such a requirement poses no problems for strippers, why should gun owners be treated with any more deference?

Or is the requirement for strippers to wear ID badges just a Harris county thing? I dunno.

The point is, there's plenty of precedent that doesn't have to hark back to the late 1930s.

That is my thought. I wonder about the retention point though. My OWB holster has only one point of retention.

Why choose OC over concealed carry? OC
just stirs up the sheep! We have the right to OC, I just don't see the necessity of exercis-ing that right. What's wrong with concealed carry? Why not put all our effort into getting concealed carry, without need of a license? If
you want to OC, go to it,I just don't see any advantage over concealed carry.
