Pop rivets hold up to +/- 200rnds and then they go boom!!! Not fun!! You can make a rivet jig using a drill bit and a nut. Worked for me till i got my ak-builder rivet jig.

So I ordered a polish slant brake, and this is weird. It only fits on one barrel, but not the other. It spins onto the threads of the other barrel freely, but won't fit on another barrel. The thread protector of one kit fits on both barrel threads however, so I'm not sure what could be causing the resistance on it... Any ideas?

And yes I cross posted lol

Red Star Arms sells a plastic washer that will take up the slack. It's meant for their brake (which kicks the living shit out of the slant thing that's actually just a really ugly thread protector), but it should work with any muzzle device on an AK.

Anyone have a rivet crusher? I dont fell like making one out of bolt cutters and all i can find are pop-rivet guns.
