Call it what you want. I just dont see the point to go all through this process, yet not bend the flat, and mark it with YOUR name, to show it was your work, instead of the goofy nodak name.

But best of luck, cant wait to see the build.

Okay, this might sound kind of stupid, but since I'm going for the authentic AK look (whatever that may be in my mind lol), I was thinking of getting the selector markings on a nodak spud NDS-1 receiver.

However, should I go with the romanian selector markings, or the russian? I like how the russian markings look more... well... Russian?? but the parts kit is a romanian one.

If youre worried about the US barrel why dont you get a romanian virgin barrel from Apex. I have one now that im using for my Polish U/F build.

Barrels came in. The barrels are threaded, and the thread protector that came with the parts kit did fit on it, so it is right. They do have the gas port hole already on there, and yes, they do have extractor cuts.

So I ordered a polish slant brake, and this is weird. It only fits on one barrel, but not the other. It spins onto the threads of the other barrel freely, but won't fit on another barrel. The thread protector of one kit fits on both barrel threads however, so I'm not sure what could be causing the resistance on it... Any ideas?

And yes I cross posted lol
