watched a youtube expert take a new Colt AR15A2 and the PSA version of that model and tear them down to compare. He was a Colt fanboy IMHO. When he was done he had whined repeatedly about the fore grip on the PSA being too fat. And the Colt side wall of the lowers mag well was a bit thicker. All in he said would I recommend the PSA? Yes. Just saying.
As to Mil-Spec. Some of us respect the term because we had to admit that anyone (mostly Colt) that could make so many rifles that had parts interchangeability and worked so well as a system was something special. My hats off to the Mil-Spec M-16.
